One of the hardest parts of being human is navigating seasons of change, uncertainty, and emotional pain while trying to make sense of who we are and where we’re headed in life. If you’re willing to take that journey together, I would be honored to walk alongside you. My goal is not to tell you who to be, but to help you uncover your strengths, build insight, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and person-centered. I work with school-aged children, teens, adults, couples, and families to create practical, actionable steps toward growth while honoring each individual’s lived experience. I approach therapy through a culturally responsive and trauma-informed lens, recognizing that behavior, emotion, and coping patterns often develop for important reasons. Together, we identify those patterns, understand their function, and build new skills that support resilience and long-term well-being.

Many individuals and families seek my services for concerns related to anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma and stress, behavioral and emotional regulation challenges, adjustment and life transitions, family and relational dynamics, and intellectual and developmental disabilities.

I work with school-aged children through adulthood and value supporting clients across the lifespan. Whether we are building coping strategies, processing trauma, strengthening relationships, or improving emotional regulation, my hope is to create a space where you feel respected, understood, and empowered.

I have six years of experience providing mental health services and am currently pursuing my doctorate in clinical psychology at Walden University. I earned my master’s degree in forensic psychology from Arizona State University and my bachelor’s degree in social sciences from the University of Maryland while serving on active duty overseas. My background in both clinical and forensic settings has shaped my understanding of how mental health and systemic factors intersect in complex and deeply personal ways.

I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and support you in building the life you want to live.

Sincerely,

Heather
