About Janet K. Schlegel, LMFT,  Founder

Do you think change has to be hard or take a long time? Do you want more out of life? Are you wondering if you will ever be happy again? Do you want better quality relationships? Do you wish you could put a spark back into your marriage? Are you tired of trying and feeling hopeless?

I take a no nonsense approach to therapy and use razor sharp precision to get to the core issues. I am highly skilled at helping clients remove the “porcupine quills” that hurt whenever a bad memory is triggered.

My specialties include sexual abuse, anger management, couples and marriage counseling, anxiety and depression and healing after abortion. I have experienced divorce, remarriage and also have a newer specialty working with grief counseling after the unexpected death of my son at age 25 when he was hit as a pedestrian by a motor vehicle.

I often use EMDR and NLP which have techniques that use both sides of your brain to change better and faster than traditional “talk therapy”. I have experienced the quick and lasting effects personally. Please call or email and let me help you achieve the life you deserve.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Marriage & Family from Northwestern College in 2003 and Masters Degree in Adlerian Psychotherapy from Adler Graduate School in 2005. I am AAMFT Board approved Clinical Supervisor for LMFT and MN approved for Licensed Psychological Clinical Counselors.

I see clients Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 10-5pm

Call for an appointment today: 763-401-7703  I look forward to helping you achieve the life you really deserve.
