Olivia Beauchamp
Olivia Beauchamp, MA, Pre-Licensed Therapist
Hello, I’m Olivia. I will work to bring warmth and authenticity to your therapy experience, and I have a deep respect for client autonomy. I have a person-centered and depth-oriented method to therapy, grounded in existential therapy and informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I want to help you make meaning out of your lived experience! Therapy is a space to slow down, explore your internal world, and learn to understand your patterns of thought, emotion, and the ways of relating to your world that have developed over time. I bring clinical training and lived experience to my work with my clients.
I have a special interest in working with Autistic and ADHD clients, particularly those people who are just beginning to explore these identities or have developed masking and adaptive strategies over time to help cope. I am passionate about helping neurodivergent clients make sense of long-standing experiences of shame, burnout, and disconnection from self. Therapy work often focuses on identity development, understanding long-standing emotional and relational patterns, and building more sustainable ways of relating to yourself and to the other people in your life. I also enjoy working with clients navigating anxiety, grief, and life transitions. I approach therapy with curiosity, care, and attention to what matters most to you.
I am a psychology graduate student at St. Mary’s University of Minnesota working under supervision here at Soul Work Counseling. I look forward to being able to get to know you!
